Today we live 16 years longer compared to 1948 (introduction of the AHV), but still have the same retirement age of 65. With three years (of the 16) longer working, the AHV would definitely be restructured. The increase must be socially and economically acceptable. SP Federal Councillor Ruth Dreifuss set an example: under her leadership, the economy and women were able to cope with the increase in the women's pension age from 62 to 63 (2001) and to 64 (2005) without any problems. Many are already working longer.
Wir leben heute 16 Jahre länger im Vergleich zu 1948 (Einführung der AHV), haben aber immer noch dasselbe Rentenalter 65. Mit drei Jahren (von den 16) länger arbeiten wäre die AHV definitiv saniert. Die Erhöhung ist sozial und wirtschaftlich verträglich zu gestalten.
