The real intention behind this kind of initiative is simple, and it is not to protect household purchasing power. Large groups, in Switzerland as elsewhere in Europe, want to monopolize more and more media and media influence. These same groups, most of which are headed by very wealthy individuals with an ultra-liberal vision that is sometimes very close to extreme right-wing ideas, in reality want to defend their sole interests.
