This measure would have unacceptable social consequences in the view of the SP. Tenants who are dependent on electric heating (often people with low incomes) would be penalized. The climate fund initiative enables massive investments by the public sector in the energy transition so that it can be implemented in a socially responsible manner. This also reduces the consumption of energy.
