L'âge de la retraite actuel de 65 ans met en place un bon équilibre entre vie privée et travail. Une augmentation serait envisageable uniquement si l'évolution démographique cause un trop grand déséquilibre dans la prévoyance vieillesse nécessitant un changement. Le but d'une tel augmentation étant de réduire la redistribution des travailleurs vers les retraités tout en maintenant le niveau des rentes dans la mesure du possible, tout en tenant compte des conditions spécifiques aux branches.
